#8 Mark Polis:
For both of you guys, I am quite tired of this. It's far too complicated to figure out who is the main course of this never-ending and seriously insulting dialog. Therefore I'll begin now. Whoever throws another rude comment against the counter-party will be banned. Please stop now. I value both of you and will regret if I have to do what I said, but you give me no choice.
Please let's stop this now.

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(3/12/2010 4:28:16 AM) - a very pleasing tranquil image Andreas

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(3/12/2010 4:22:30 AM) - good processing Zenonas

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(3/3/2010 7:00:24 AM) - #3 Christopher Azzopardi: cool, I like it too :)

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(3/3/2010 6:49:24 AM) - Nice one Linda. Maybe less overall contrast?

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(3/3/2010 6:20:29 AM) - good snow structure and composition. Would love to see a tiny splash of light somewhere

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(3/3/2010 6:14:40 AM) - creative as always Christopher. I might be tempted to cut the top off here [^154;272;1] to create an illusion of a green tree growing on top of an orange mountain ;)

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(3/2/2010 6:19:38 AM) - #23 Stefan Babel: Stefan, it's a single one. Would be impossible to do several exposures anyway as I didn't have a tripod that evening

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(3/2/2010 4:57:18 AM) - What a wonderful moment! I think, memorable images like this is the essence of what Photography is about. And when looking at them you can fully understand the deep meaning of the "Image is everything" phrase.
A couple of spots [^499;362;1][^532;415;1][^461;218;1] and a little oversharpenned, but still a great photo.

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(3/2/2010 4:43:12 AM) - Linda, I like the color one better. To me it provides better separation between the subjects and raises my gastronomic interests ;).

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(3/2/2010 1:42:16 AM) - magnetic. and title gives it yet another twist.
Sand is photographer's worst enemy [^50;301;1][^246;358;1][^866;365;1] ;)

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(3/1/2010 3:36:20 PM) - wow! top class Mark. I might got rid of this [^-7;288;1], no photoshop, just move it 20cm to the left ;)

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(3/1/2010 12:09:29 PM) - #10 Arno Hollander(Sniper 1): yes, skewing is in most cases the way to go
#11 joe bellantoni: most buildings in Venice are naturally cocked that's true ;)

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(3/1/2010 11:45:12 AM) - #7 Ray Griffiths(Make friends of your anenomies): Thanks Ray, i agree with rotation (will put it in later) however the crop is too tight on the left to my liking and I'd prefer having the brick wall in even if I have the pipe there ;)

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(3/1/2010 11:44:07 AM) - #5 Hazel4:
#6 herman blockx:
Thank you

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(3/1/2010 8:53:52 AM) - very nice flock formation Herman. Pleasing and moody image.

#4 Lorraine54(cest la vie !!!! ): Wanted to suggest an edit to separate it from the right edge then saw the Lorrain's one - exactly what I thought.

Thank you for your encouraging feedback. On ccw rotation I guess you are right. Will fix this tonight when I am back from work.

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(3/1/2010 4:37:13 AM) - a cabin [^358;105;1]?

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(2/28/2010 4:51:31 PM) - Cool idea Linda. I'd prefer them slightly more separated. Also maybe a more even white background would look even better.

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(2/28/2010 9:10:41 AM) - #1 Arno Hollander(Sniper 1): I bet fish in canals is very fat for obvious reasons :)

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(2/28/2010 9:10:11 AM) - #4 CherylB(nothing changes ): you perfectionist ! updated to make you happy :)))

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(2/28/2010 8:18:05 AM) - i prefer you soft focus version but i'd leave eyes and eye lashes sharp

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(2/28/2010 8:15:24 AM) - great one Sreten. For a nice surrealistic impression I'd go against documental truthness and remove the stem completely [^498;130;1].

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(2/27/2010 6:13:36 PM) - perfect Mike :)

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(2/25/2010 11:13:55 AM) - #17 CherylB(nothing changes ): while doing what?

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(2/23/2010 6:40:51 PM) - a vary good low key portrait Mark. Good message there too. Something like "when you are in the dark, go to specsavers :)". I like the sweater pattern matching one on the background. Slightly more details on his face would be good.

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(2/23/2010 6:34:58 PM) - #1 Egbert M. Reinhold:
#2 CherylB(nothing changes ): yes, and these 3 also [^112;406;1][^236;405;1][^233;74;1] to make it look like 200 years ago :)

Thank you all for your nice and encouraging comments and suggestions.

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(2/23/2010 12:05:41 PM) - it's promising when one can extract an erotic part of such a nightmare ;).

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(2/22/2010 4:11:16 PM) - #1 Arno Hollander(Sniper 1): thanks Arno, soon :)
#2 Jeff Brown UK: thanks Jeff. The sign a way too bright - big lattern. In fact what you see is pasted from a 2 stops down shot...
#3 Hazel4: thanks Hazel. It smells in some places occasionally, but not everywhere it's not something I'd remember as a holiday spoiler :)
#4 LindaY( ):
#5 CherylB( PB is a Time Bandit):
thank you Linda and Cheryl. Hopefully my following Venice series will help you make up your mind whether it's worth it or not going there...

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(2/22/2010 3:31:58 PM) - simple but flowerful idea Linda :). Agree with Cheryl on her first suggestion and I think you could try a polariser to improve the flower's colors.

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(2/21/2010 5:16:50 PM) - #4 Mark Polis: thanks Mark, I think so too
#5 Lorraine54(cest la vie !!!! ): glad I stopped in too Lorraine :)
#6 Sreten: thank you Sreten
#7 Jeff Brown UK: I like a humoristic side of your crop Jeff :)
#8 Hazel4: even if you are not well prepared, Venetians will take care of it Hazel :)
#9 John More: Thanks John, I left the top intentionally so that the palace is not confused with a building site ;)

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(2/21/2010 5:01:53 PM) - very cool Arno

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(2/21/2010 6:01:58 AM) - damn, I thought you wouldn't guess :)

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(5/28/2009 1:50:40 AM) - #1 john soulnier: my dear aggressive chicken shit (just using your own definition for all, hence for yourself too), snaps like this have little to do with photography. No comments is a comment and for intelligent people who want to learn is a valuable feedback.

#5 Les McLean((I don't do baskets) )): the moderator had contributed in a most positive way by giving a tempered advise to a member who went a bit too far.

You haven't.

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(5/22/2009 10:45:14 AM) - it's creative and it's deep Zenonas.
And his job takes its toll even for him. He is getting old. What is going to happen when Dr. Time is no longer with us, I wonder.

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(5/22/2009 10:27:27 AM) - #2 CherylB(as the world turns pb stands still): old Russian diver's watch (David's).

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(5/22/2009 10:26:41 AM) - #1 Tim Pereira(T-Bear ): thanks Tim, the one getting married is not here (it's David btw) Harvey is not there either ;)

Comment by Sergei Samus (Serega to friends)(4/28/2009 4:52:39 PM) - #36 Mark Polis(Is thatchya final answer?):
Mark, I am quite puzzled. After everyone here showed you so much support, respect, and friendship when you needed it most you don't have a slightest attempt to understand what people are trying to say to you.

There is nothing to ban you for, it's just sad you are not open for a honest conversation. Let's finish this here then, but I thought a reminder would be useful: friends are not only those who tell you sweet things, they are those who can tell you bitter truth also and those are the most precious ones.
